Team

About

I provide counselling within my scope of training, competence, and ethical guidelines. I hold a Master of Science in Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University, designated member of the ASCHP, a SAQA-recognised professional body for wellness counsellors with designations listed on the NQF (Act 67 of 2008). My therapeutic work is grounded in an integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach, incorporating narrative and strengths-based practices. Counselling is a collaborative process designed to support emotional well-being, self-understanding, personal growth, and enhanced coping skills. Counselling may involve discussion, reflection, emotional processing, skills-building, and therapeutic exercises. Counselling does not guarantee specific outcomes and should not be used as a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.
